Delete your VACKLE account and data

Option 1 — delete it yourself in the app

1. Open the VACKLE app (or vackle.com) and sign in.
2. On your home screen, tap Photos & distance.
3. Scroll to the Account section at the bottom.
4. Tap Delete my account, then confirm Delete permanently.

Your account and data are deleted immediately and you are signed out. This cannot be undone.

Option 2 — request deletion by email

Email support@vackle.com from the email address on your VACKLE account, with the subject "Account deletion request". We verify ownership of the account and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your account and sign-in credentials (email or Google login)
• Your profile: name, age, gender, city, bio and sport preferences
• Your profile photo, gallery photos and voice messages
• Your approximate location and distance-sharing settings
• Your likes, matches, blocks and push notification tokens
• Your subscription records held by VACKLE

What is kept, and for how long

• Reports you submitted or that were submitted about you, and the related moderation decision, are kept for up to 12 months in an anonymised form so we can protect other members from repeat abuse.
• Payment and tax records held by our payment providers (Apple, Google, Stripe) are kept for up to 7 years where accounting law requires it. VACKLE cannot delete these.
• Encrypted backups may contain your data for up to 30 days before they are rotated out.

Deleting only part of your data

You do not have to delete your whole account. In Photos & distance you can remove individual photos, turn off distance sharing and clear your stored location, and in your profile you can change your sports and details at any time.

Cancel your subscription first

If you subscribe to VACKLE Plus, cancel it in the App Store, Google Play or your billing portal before deleting your account. Deleting your VACKLE account does not automatically cancel a store subscription.
